Employment is increasingly becoming more complex in the UK and new legislation continues to evolve from our membership of the European Community. For large companies it is easy to keep on top of it by ensuring they have dedicated resources from either the legal profession or a Human Resource department to make sure that they comply with the law.

For small companies it isn't so easy. They cannot afford (and do not need) dedicated resources to address issues that may arise - so what is the answer?

We offer an 'Employer Starter Pack' which includes a Contract of Employment or Statement of Terms and Conditions of Employment, an Employee Handbook, covering such things as Company rules and regulations, a detailed Invention and Confidentiality Agreement (essential in, say, a research environment) plus a number of specific policies such as Data Protection and Maternity provisions. The pack highlights elements which must be included and those which are discretionary or optional. All documents meet current legislative requirements.

The Starter Pack includes an initial 2 hours consultancy. In addition, copies of all updates and any new policies written within 12 months of purchase of the pack, as a result of changes in employment legislation are supplied.
