| Staff are surprisingly honest when completing staff satisfaction surveys and this information can add real value to planning. By way of example, one survey we conducted indicated that only 41% of the staff felt the full range of their skills and abilities were being used in their current role. This was in a company that operates in the Information Technology Sector where skills shortages are acute. This result prompted them to consider more internal candidates for vacant positions.
