Strategy and Culture - creating the right environment

Management gurus have written many books and articles on business and HR strategy - much of it, in our view, consultancy-speak and hype. However, there is no doubt that performance can be significantly improved if staff have a clear understanding of where the Company is positioning itself and what it is trying to achieve. Linking a well communicated vision and strategy with departmental and individual objectives through Performance Management are key activities if a company is to avoid drifting and, in extreme cases, losing its sense of purpose and direction.

We assist clients to devise appropriate HR strategies that support and are sympathetic to the company's overall strategy. We also assist in the development of a culture that reinforces the agreed strategy; this usually includes the setting up of effective communication channels.

Our Staff Satisfaction Surveys enable clients to track employees' opinions and identify critical issues. These can be used as an integral part of strategy and culture projects to measure understanding and commitment and to track changes in behaviour and performance.
